A hearty and deeply flavorful pasta fusion blending lean ground beef, the classic holy trinity of Southern aromatics, and bold Cajun spices into a perfect 30-minute weeknight skillet meal.

1 lb lean ground beef

12 oz dry spaghetti noodles

1 cup sweet yellow onion, finely diced

1 cup green bell pepper, finely diced

1/2 cup celery, finely diced

3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tbsp low-sodium Cajun seasoning blend

1 cup rich low-sodium beef broth

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped for garnish

Instructions

1.Boil spaghetti noodles until al dente; drain and set aside.

2.Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3.Drain excess grease from skillet, leaving one tablespoon.

4.Stir in diced onion, green pepper, and celery; cook until soft.

5.Add minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, stirring for 60 seconds.

6.Pour in beef broth and simmer on low for 10 minutes.

7.Toss drained pasta directly into the meat skillet for 2 minutes.

8.Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot immediately.

Notes

Swap ground beef with ground turkey or chicken if desired.
