A hearty, budget-friendly ground beef and egg noodle bake that defines family comfort food.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

12 oz wide egg noodles

1 can (10.5 oz) tomato soup

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup whole milk

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Boil egg noodles until al dente; drain.

2. Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain fat.

3. Stir in soups, milk, and spices with the beef.

4. Mix noodles into the beef sauce.

5. Transfer to a baking dish and top with cheese.

6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

Substitute cream of celery if preferred.

Freeze unbaked for up to 3 months.

Serve with a side salad for a balanced meal.
