1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 sheets refrigerated pie crust
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup celery, sliced
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 egg (for wash)
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Sauté onions, peppers, and celery until soft.
3. Stir in flour and seasoning for 1 minute.
4. Add heavy cream and whisk until thickened.
5. Fold in raw shrimp and remove from heat.
6. Line dish with crust, add filling, and cover with top crust.
7. Seal edges, cut vents, and brush with egg wash.
