Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp Unsalted butter
1/4 cup Shallots, finely minced
2 tbsp Garlic, freshly sliced
1 cup White grape juice
3 tbsp Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
2 cups Heavy cream
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
1 lb Linguine, cooked al dente
1/4 cup Fresh parsley, roughly chopped

Instructions

Marinate the cleaned shrimp in a touch of olive oil, salt, and pepper for ten minutes.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear the shrimp until they turn opaque and golden, then remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt half the butter and sauté the minced shallots until translucent.
Add the sliced garlic and cook for one minute until fragrant.
Deglaze the pan with white grape juice, scraping up any browned bits, and simmer until reduced by half.
Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, simmering gently until the sauce thickens slightly.
Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Return the shrimp to the pan along with the remaining butter and cooked linguine.
Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated and the shrimp are heated through.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure the shrimp are patted dry before searing to achieve the best color. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a tablespoon of pasta water to adjust the consistency to your liking.
