Scale

12 lasagna noodles

1 tbsp olive oil

1 lb medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

8 oz lump crab meat, drained and checked for shells

2 cups fresh spinach

3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

3 cups whole milk

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt

Black pepper, to taste

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 large egg

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. Heat olive oil and cook shrimp until pink and opaque. Combine with crab meat.

4. Melt butter, sauté garlic, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk. Cook until thickened.

5. Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

6. Mix ricotta with egg until smooth.

7. Wilt spinach briefly and drain excess moisture.

8. Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta, seafood, spinach, and mozzarella. Repeat layers.

9. Top with remaining sauce and mozzarella.

10. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

11. Rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use thawed, well-drained shrimp and crab to prevent excess moisture.

Drain spinach thoroughly before layering.

Avoid overcooking the shrimp before baking.

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days.

Reheat until the center reaches 165°F (74°C).
