2 chicken leg quarters
1 lb halal sausage, sliced into rounds
1 lb pasta of your choice
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 cup tomato paste or crushed tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1. Sear chicken in a skillet until cooked through; set aside.
2. Brown sausage slices in the same skillet; remove.
3. Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.
4. Stir in tomato paste and herbs; simmer.
5. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
6. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; drain.
7. Reintroduce chicken and sausage to the sauce.
8. Toss cooked pasta into the skillet until well coated.
