A fluffy, restaurant-style rice infused with fresh lime and cilantro. Perfect for tacos and bowls.

Ingredients

1.5 cups basmati rice

3 cups water

1 tsp sea salt

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tbsp lime zest

1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Rinse rice until water runs clear.

2. Combine rice, water, and oil in a pot.

3. Boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes.

4. Let rest 5 minutes off heat.

5. Fold in cilantro, lime juice, zest, and salt.

Notes

Rinse rice well to prevent mushiness.

Use fresh lime for best flavor.

Store in airtight container up to 4 days.
