A decadent, restaurant-quality meal featuring succulent shrimp, perfectly al dente pasta, and a rich, velvety garlic parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

12 oz linguine or fettuccine pasta

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1.Cook pasta until al dente; drain.

2.Sauté seasoned shrimp in olive oil until pink; set aside.

3.Melt butter, sauté garlic and pepper flakes.

4.Add cream; simmer until thickened.

5.Stir in parmesan.

6.Toss pasta and shrimp in sauce.

7.Plate in a high mound and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Serve with a fresh arugula salad.

Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.

Use gluten-free pasta for a wheat-free option.
