Ingredients
1 box angel food cake (prepared and cubed)
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions
1.Cube the angel food cake and place half in a 9×13 dish.
2.Spread 2/3 of the cherry filling over the cake cubes.
3.Whisk pudding mix with milk, then fold in sour cream.
4.Layer remaining cake, pour pudding over, and cover with whipped topping.
5.Garnish with remaining cherries and chill for 4-6 hours.
Notes
Use sugar-free pudding for a lighter version.
Substitute strawberries for cherries if desired.
Ensure the cake chills for at least 4 hours to set properly.
