1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1.Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2.Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3.Sear shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
4.Lower heat, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds.
5.Stir in lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
6.Return shrimp to skillet and toss in sauce.
7.Sprinkle with parsley and chives, cook for one more minute.
8.Serve immediately.
