Easy homemade cinnamon toast made with thick slices of bread and a sweet cinnamon-butter spread. Baked until golden with crispy edges and a soft, buttery center. Ready in about 17 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

4 slices thick bread (brioche or Texas toast)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Arrange bread slices on the prepared baking sheet.

3. Mix softened butter, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.

4. Spread the cinnamon butter evenly over each bread slice.

5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are golden.

6. Let rest briefly and serve warm.

Notes

Use brioche for a richer flavor or Texas toast for a sturdier texture.

Soften butter before mixing for easier spreading.

Adjust cinnamon to taste for a milder flavor.

Watch closely during the final minutes to prevent burning.

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.

Reheat in a 350°F oven for 4–6 minutes.

Freeze assembled, unbaked slices for 1–2 months for best quality.
