Tender beef, crisp green beans, bell peppers, and onion tossed in a savory stir-fry sauce for a delicious 30-minute weeknight dinner.
1 1/2 lbs beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed and cut
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tbsp cooking oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp water
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt, to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cornstarch (optional)
1. Cut beef and vegetables.
2. Mix sauce ingredients.
3. Sear beef in hot oil.
4. Cook green beans and vegetables.
5. Add garlic and ginger.
6. Return beef to skillet.
7. Add sauce and toss.
8. Cook until glossy and serve.
For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with the water before adding it.
Serve over steamed rice or noodles.
