A classic Italian appetizer featuring crispy toasted baguette topped with juicy marinated tomatoes, fresh basil ribbons, and creamy mozzarella.

Ingredients

1 French baguette, sliced

4 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced

8 oz fresh mozzarella, cubed

1/4 cup fresh basil, chiffonade

3 cloves garlic

3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

2 tbsp balsamic glaze

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Dice tomatoes and mix with minced garlic and oil.

3. Marinate tomato mixture for 10 minutes.

4. Toast bread slices until golden brown.

5. Rub warm bread with a garlic clove.

6. Top bread with mozzarella and tomato mixture.

7. Garnish with fresh basil and balsamic glaze.

8. Serve immediately for best crunch.
