Juicy skillet chicken thighs coated in a creamy, sweet and spicy bang bang sauce, finished with green onions and served over fluffy rice.
6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1 garlic clove, minced
2-3 green onions, sliced
Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
Cooked jasmine or white rice
Lime wedges, optional
1. Pat chicken dry and season.
2. Mix bang bang sauce ingredients.
3. Heat oil in a skillet.
4. Sear chicken 5-7 minutes per side.
5. Cook to 165°F internally.
6. Reduce heat to low.
7. Coat chicken with bang bang sauce.
8. Warm for 1-2 minutes.
9. Garnish with green onions and herbs.
10. Serve over cooked rice.
Adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
Jasmine rice pairs well with the sauce.
Bone-in thighs can be used with extra cooking time.
Store leftovers refrigerated for 3-4 days.
