Tender chicken breasts topped with savory turkey ham and melted Swiss cheese, all slow-cooked in a creamy sauce and finished with a savory stuffing topping.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (2 lbs)

4 slices turkey ham

4 slices Swiss cheese

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/4 cup whole milk

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp Parmesan cheese

1 dash nutmeg

1 box (6 oz) dry chicken stuffing mix

Instructions

1.Spray a slow cooker liner with cooking spray.

2.Place the 4 chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.

3.Top each breast with a slice of turkey ham followed by a slice of Swiss cheese.

4.In a small bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, mustard, Parmesan, and nutmeg.

5.Pour the sauce over the chicken.

6.Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the top.

7.Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours until chicken is tender.

8.Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Optional: Uncover the last 45 minutes of cooking to firm up the stuffing, or add the dry stuffing mix 30 minutes before serving.
