Tender slow-cooked beef brisket coated in a sweet and savory glaze, perfect for an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

3 to 4 lb beef brisket

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp kosher salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 medium yellow onion, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/3 cup ketchup

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Season brisket with spices.

2. Sear in olive oil.

3. Place onion and garlic in slow cooker.

4. Add broth and Worcestershire sauce.

5. Place brisket on top.

6. Mix glaze ingredients.

7. Spread half over brisket.

8. Cook on LOW 8–10 hours.

9. Brush with remaining glaze.

10. Broil briefly if desired.

11. Rest 10–15 minutes.

12. Slice against the grain and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the brisket before slow cooking.

Cook until fork-tender rather than relying only on cooking time.

Store leftovers refrigerated for 3–4 days.

Freeze cooked brisket for longer storage.

Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or mac and cheese.
