Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs Sirloin Steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1.5 lbs Baby Potatoes, halved
1 cup Beef Broth (alcohol-free)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 large Onion, diced
3 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Dried thyme
Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste

Instructions

Season the sirloin steak cubes thoroughly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the steak cubes until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes, then transfer to the slow cooker.
Sauté the diced onion in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Transfer the onion and garlic mixture into the slow cooker with the steak.
Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the mixture.
Add the halved baby potatoes and sprinkle with dried thyme.
Stir gently to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender and potatoes are cooked through.

Notes

Ensure your Worcestershire sauce is alcohol-free or use a certified halal brand. For thicker sauce, whisk 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
