1 lb flank steak, sliced thin
1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper to taste
8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup spinach
3 green onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
Sesame seeds for garnish
1.Boil noodles; drain and toss with sesame oil.
2.Sear steak in hot olive oil for 2-3 minutes; remove.
3.Cook shrimp in the same pan for 1-2 minutes until pink; remove.
4.Stir-fry garlic, bell peppers, and green onions for 2-3 minutes.
5.Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, honey, sesame oil, red pepper, and cornstarch slurry.
6.Toss noodles, steak, shrimp, spinach, and sauce in the skillet until glossy.
7.Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions and serve.
Use flank steak for the best results.
